About this program
Security engineering for food courts and shared dining.
Food Court Security is the food court, food hall, and cart pod program of Security First Alarm, a licensed, bonded, and insured security and fire alarm company based in Portland, Oregon.
What this site is for
This site exists to explain and scope one specific problem: protecting shared dining environments after the crowd leaves. Food courts, food halls, and food cart pods mix public seating, vendor boundaries, cash handling, and staggered closing times, and each of those creates a different exposure. We design intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, and monitoring around how a property actually operates rather than around a generic package.
Visitors can explore property layouts and zones in the interactive guide, review the Ajax curtain detection and camera equipment used, and then request a site assessment. A walk-through is followed by a written, zone-by-zone proposal that names the equipment, the monitoring service, and the arming schedule. Property managers, food hall operators, cart pod owners, and commercial operators managing multiple locations use the program to standardize that work across sites.
The program is built and maintained by Security First Alarm, which has served Oregon and Southwest Washington properties for 28 years. Design, installation, testing, and monitoring are handled by the company's own regional technicians and partners, and alarm signals are routed to a UL-listed central station. The public site and its internal staff console were designed and built by Daniel Read of ĀRU Intelligence.
